GC112 - Toyota Hilux - CAGE

Been seen on the news and commented on this forum. I have seen this vehicle for a while but without any photo opportunities

Today I managed to get these...... It looks a nice vehicle

Fancy having a chain left to swing around on the back panel.

When your struggling to get a poi out of the pod, the chain beeing left off is the least of your worries, it has a plastic sheilding over it anyway, so its not going to do any damage

You should put the chain on after the POI is in the cage not while you are struggling with them.

Even the plastic rubbing will cause wear marks.

Im pretty sure i said when their getting the POI OUT OF THE POD!

and boo-hoo, its a government vehicle, they get alot worse then that believe me.

so whats the benefits of this cage over others?

is there some news article on it? e,g compared to the falcons and is this the falcon replacement? no more divvy style vans?

these are more stable, and are lighter, and easier to clean.
they also offer alot more storage, although i wouldnt trust it.. the extra compartments dont seem exetremely secure. that said, once you in one your not coming out on your own.... thats what their built for.

Similar to our ones here in Tassie, except those look much better! Spacious!

Yes technically they are government vehicles - albeit without government number plates. Just because it is a government vehicle does not mean that it should be any less looked after. If government things were looked after better we would all pay much less tax. I wish more people would realise this!
