Police Burglary Hot Spot Vehicles

Has anyone else seen these parked up in the suburbs? Saw it in Como today.

Yes I have seen that before.. They set up camp on my sisters verge about 6 weeks ago!. some of the neighbors got a bit pissy about it but as the police explained to my sister its about letting the locals know their area is a hotspot and that they should keep an eye out for suspicious things... etc

Without going in to the seriousness of their initiative, imagine how it would of looked if they left it unattended and it was broken into...

the other day it was on Canning Hwy near Ryrie Ave and Manning Rd near the skate park

Good way to get some use out of the mobile command facility while its not otherwise being utilised.
