Want to drive one of these baby's, work would be a little slow, but ASA are employing for Aviation Rescue and Firefighting Crews now.

he is actually parked, the drive (only 1) was out directing traffic next to a building site, maybe they needed to dampen the foundations of the building site, this is near where the Taxi's line up in the car park over by Qantas Link

A general rule of thumb is if there is nobody sitting in the drivers seat the vehicle isn't being driven.

Sorry, now I can see he was stationary

the beacon is always on went attending fire calls etc, its a nav light a pre - requsite for drving within the airport boundaries
