Those police ones are just at the auto's getting all the lights etc. wired up.

It is in fact an Auto Electicians. Many of the Police fleet are fitted out there as it is not far from the old Maylands Academy. During the height of the TADIS fitout, and with fleet changeovers to the new VE Commodores there were often 2 or 3 Police vehicles there every day.
