i was reading something about the Falcon and Commodore utes that were used as ambulances in Victoria a few years ago and under no circumstance were they allowed to go over the speed limit.. even when driving L&S...Lucas_arts_182 wrote:i dont think that ford could go very quick and handeling wouldn't be the best , its a ute and isnt designed to carry a load that big , where the merc is .... , i know wich one of the two i would like to pick me up if i needed it
i wonder if its the same for this awkward looking thing??
People call me an "Egotistic Jackass"... I prefer the term "Confident Donkey" --->Donks for short
Only worked from a ford ute once. not good for p1, was too low, didnt feel safe at all and she used to wobble.
They were supposedly used for small country centers with a very light case load, i.e. lake king = 4 jobs per year
There is a reason why they are not made anymore. Most country centers that use them now have them only as transfer vans. I think Margs has a green one?

Kalbarri has the same as margs
I think collie still has there old XH falcon ute ambulance
A subcentre near gealdton sold there ford au cab chassis not long ago 47,000klms on it as an ambulance for something stupid so they could buy a ex metro merc. It went to tender and sold for about $15,000.
