Yeah I think that was the test astra if I remember correctly?? Good light bar and not bad quality considering

Mmmmmmh...I like!

Nice and small to chuck around the city, great lightbar, uses less petrol than a commodore.

Any feedback from the officers?

It's actually a 1.9 turbo diesel. It actually surprised me, I thought it would be a pile of crap, but it goes and handles a lot better than I thought. Still sounds like a truck though.

why do you need to waste 4l family cars to do brief runs and admin? these are good as an office car in times when sustainablity is growing.....

Test Car-No the police have allready put out a press release stateing they would be useing astras and wrx's.Was printed in the west australian news paper some time ago

It's the first one, which was bought as a 'test' is what I think is being said?
There's been plenty of talk about these under the WAPOL section of the forum..

Guys, the time has come to say goodbye to big engines...they're a dying breed, mark my words. The police should be setting a precedence (as you know, you can get a good bang for your buck out of 6 or even 4 cylinders).

My two cents worth...and I won't get pulled in to an argument.
