Hey all, bomber asked me for a few pics of the interior of a Mercedes Ambulance. Just thought I'd share them with everyone!

Cool pics mate, thanks for those. Can you tell us what the two radios do?Is the vertically mounted one for simplex use?. Is the remote head with the large screen where the job text appears?

The bottom radio looks like a UHF CB.

Bottom one is indeed a UHF CB, top one is basically for us to communicate between vehicles, sub-centres and can even get 6DS for Chopper requests if we're lucky.

3 questions:
1) What's the box thing with what looks like 4 green buttons in an arc?
2) What's the black plate with the yellow roundy things on?
3) What's the "fine" for leaving one of those cabinets open or or velcro straps undone? hehe I'm sure it happens :-P

1. Thats for our electric roller doors, opens/closes them.
2. That activates lights/sirens, side alley lights, side spot lights, rear lights.. I call it the fun box.
3. The fine is a 6 pack of the attendants choice, needless to say it doesnt happen often. The fine is also the same if we turn on the windscreen wipers instead of the indicators, as the stalks are on opposite sides. :P

How about LN101, 102, 103 and 201?

Just some exterior shots would be great.

Good to see you got the new 50e stretcher... lucky buggers!
Looking at the monitor bracket you have a Heartstart there I take it? I thought they had been replaced with Zoll's.

Can I ask why you have the blue bag? Is that the Dr's box on a vol ambulance?
Formally ZO100, now KG100 :D
