Here we go. These are the WAPol vehicles that i managed to snap while i was in Hedland. A big thanks to all the guys and gals in blue that indulged my requests, i'm sure that they all think i'm crazy. These were taken over 4 days so there are multiple pics of some vehicles. Enjoy Tom

Nice shots again a_e. Very interesting indeed!

PM = Marble Bar
PP is a new one... it's the first station prefix I've seen with double letters. (eg you don't see NN, YY, LL, GG or JJ) According to the 2001 callsign list PL = Port Hedland... why they didn't use PH is unknown.

PP*** = Port Hedland
PS*** = South Hedland

2 separate stations approximately 15kms away from each other.

Yep I know what you're saying a_e, it just disagrees with the 2001 spreadsheet. They must have made a change for Port Hedland since then.

Oh, my brother used to live and work in South Hedland. I reckon the place is a dive!
