Feel free to comment...personally I don't like it, but I guess it serves it's purpose.

Neither do I, To me it doesn’t appeal as a police car though everything is a police car if you get my drift,

They could have used a better light bar

the light bar is cool...hehe, umm if the car was a bit of a darker blue then I'd like it better, but otherwise I don't mind it, you can certainly see it! I trust that it wasn't you that was pulled up, and you were busy taking photo's while they were writing a ticket. :) If it was...you've obviously got your priorities right :P

Nah it didn't pull me over.

The lightbar is incredibly bright in the distance, although those are GD's lightbars not traffic ones in my opinion...They should of used the one off TE210.

Nice shots yet again Tom. I thought blue WAPOL cars went out in the 80s.

Is there a picture of TE210 kicking around? I just had a look in the pictures section and there's nothing obvious like with some cars.

Cheers,

Have a look in the recent porsche thread that was posted in the pictures section.

It's the one with the clear LED 'shark-fin' light-bar.

If you can't find it let me know and i'll dig one out and post it tmrw.

Found it...mmm yes and no, I like the mix, the LED's still get seen, and the GD and Delta light bars are assosciated more with the police, and it'd be easier to integrate the GD and LED's, which is what they've done.

This isn't as 'new' as they make out. The light bar in question (from Hazard in Tassie) has had this option for a while, including the ability to have strobes next to the top rotators too. If you ever see the new Wanneroo Fire Support Vehicle about (and you cant miss it), you'll see what I mean.

I'll see if I can get one of my good mates who's with Wanneroo BFS to grab a picture if that's the case...cheers.
