Western Rescue 1 29/6-WAPOL+ a couple of treats

Post by Tom »

Went to Western Rescue today with fellow board member Walks.

I'll post some a selection of some of the pics I took today.

Here's NX101 on Kingsway rd....I wasn't driving at the time either...

Here's TE708 on display in the foyer at the PCC.

TE203...TEGS VE SV6. Edited the pic to conceal the officers identity.

Image

GMH VE SS V series 6.0L...This was in pretty rough condition. Heaps of chips in the front spolier.

This was parked on Mill St.

The 'probie' car from TEGS TE206.

Great photos Tom, do you know what the 3 aerials on NX 101 are for.

How about organising a vote for photo of the year!!!

Gav,

The centre aeriel is for digital radio, the other two are both used for the MDT. One is not for a mobile phone. Just for your info.

Thanks!

The 450-500Mhz digital voice antenna is the easiest to pick... it's the one without the coil :-)

The three antennae are as follows:
One is for the main radio (motorola)
Two are for the Tadis radio system.Because there are less data repeaters it uses a diversity (twin receiver) system much the same as professional wireless microphones. The receiver examines the received signal levels and passes the cleanest signal to the computer.

pm me if you want more info
