Walpole today received their new HSR. I was invited to come and take some pictures by their Captain. Had a very pleasant arvo meeting the crew, their Area Manager and one of the trainers from Forrestfield.

Great shots there.

Its a pity that they havent put the standard pump style stem light on these instead of the light tower that they have used which is the same on the hsr of old.

Still a nice looking appliance and all i can say to the appliance gods is can we have one pleeeeeeeeeease.

Thanks. I've only posted a few. I chose those that I thought the members here would find most useful. I did take more including some of the pump panel and the slide-out locker.

Yes saw them on the other site. Have you got one of the rescuie locker. Would like to see how the new slide racks fit . And to compare then to the old style hsr.

Basically it does all that a light pumper does but can go 4wd and carries rescue gear. (Not sure but I think it can pump and roll too.) It seems as though most VFRS brigades will get these or a country pumper (the latter specifically as it can do boost pumping as it has a higher rated pump.) and the 2.4U/3.4U will be phased out of VFRS service.
