Anyone got any photos of the mermaids around town and in the country?? these are also know as scalies. They are the road transport cars that make sure all the trucks are up to scratch. I believe they are run by main roads.

The guy who lives 2 doors up from my house is a transport inspector. He takes his car home every night but its ALWAYS in the garage. i think they have some seriously expensive equipment onboard. will try get a snap when i next see it in the morning.

These guys are hated here in Geraldton especially around harvest time. The locals call them "The Heavies". They sometimes set up in rest bays with shakers to check trucks over thoroughly. Truckies worst nightmare!

How many times have you seen a 1 tonne ute driving down Roe Hwy or the Fwy with its a*se end hanging on the ground. Weight ratio these vehicles are far worse off then a truck which is a few tonnes over but how many times have you seen the ute pulled over :?:

i think id prefer my chances against an overloaded ute than an overloaded truck
