goto http://imageshack.us/

click on the 'browse', find the location of the picture, select the resize image to 640x480 (for message boards) from the drop down (and tick the box beside it). You don't need to enter your email (but if you plan on using the site a fair bit its definately worth signing up).. after that click 'host it' and your done :)

it'll come up with a bunch of URL's if successful.

copying and pasting the Thumbnail for forums (1) in the message body here gives you..

and Hotlink for forums (1) gives you..

hope it works!

Hey all, i have been using Photobucket since i joined WARSUG, for all of my image posting. No problems so far and you can choose to link images direct or insert as URL links.

is there a way, via BBcode to scale a pictures size?

Either in pixels or as a percentage.

Cheers.

Imageshack has a re-size function, I don't believe BBcode has the fuction on this forum.

Be aware that there are reports that ImageShack has been slightly hacked, with many pictures being replaced by a banner for "Anti-sec".

A couple of mine have been wiped.
