The original post was from 2007. I'm sure it's sorted by now ;)

Fotopic is the best place to load your photos. You have more freedom than Photobucket and the other one. Makes it easier to post it here

Does anyone know the ins & outs of photobucket? I've done some cleaning up of my files, transferring them to different groups but it seems that the whole pictures have gone caput?

I've restored the links [as I can see them on photobucket] but they are not flowing through to Warsug.

Anyone have any ideas.. I'm stumped.

I also have membership in other sites where we can upload pictures direct fom our computer without the hassel of third party sites and the potential to have our pic's wiped from the storage site (e.g. comment by Yorky 11th July 1:05pm). See http://www.iceinspace.com.au/index.php?home for example of one of such sites.
Is there a particular reason it cannot be direct? It would make things much easier.

Cheers

Direct picture uploads to Warsug would not be feasible as it would add considerable load but mainly bandwidth to the site.

The site is hosted by our overlord-and-master Senior Gavin and he needs a little bit of bandwidth for himself!

That's the reason there. It's the same reason why I've switched off the picture avatar feature - it hoses bandwidth.

If folks feel like contributing a bit to the Paypal account to help pay for bandwidth... well my opinion could be swayed
