Kalamunda Crash Pics

Post by Turbo »

Wouldnt post pictures of an accident that went fatal - but I thought you might want to see these. This guy walked away (or hopped) from this with only a broken ankle and busted fema(?). Pics were taken by a fellow cameraman.

Be mindful that the firies may have cut the car up in order to free the (very lucky) occupant. Doesn't take away from the ferocity of the crash though. Trees of that size generally aren't sympathetic to cars!

Far out, there's seriously not much left of that car indeed.

Thanks for the pics!

It's an early Nissan Maxima J30.

The model that had the electronic code entry buttons on the drivers door.

The shot of the alloy wheel gives it away.

cheers

Just spotted this thread, after recently joining the forum. I have photos of the work in progress on the car, courtesy of crews on scene. They told me all they had to do was remove the A and B pillars and drivers side doors. The entire front of the car from the firewall forward stayed on the tree. So the pics you see here are only missing the doors and pillars, the guy was very lucky.

accidents always tend to look a lot worse after the fireies have cut the car to bits
