Been a requirement on Tractors since the 1980's that I can remember

ROPS = Roll over Protection Structure
FROPS = Falling Objects Protection Structure

Its a device that protects the occupants form being crushed by the vehicle if it rolls over.

Tractor cabs, like that on Case IH are ROPS Approved Cabs, and the protection is built into the cab assembly, or Pillars

Would be a great spot to build a man hole in the roof so you could stand up on the back seat or what ever and operate a roof monitor from there??

Nice pictures I used to live in Perth but now live in Broken Hill NSW any way the Mines Rescue for the perleia mine here in town were doing some training right next to the main shaft the other day and right in the middle of that a miner fell down a shaft causeing major injuries .

the local paper said fortunately they were all kitted up right next to the mine entrance saving precious time in the Rescue of the miner

some time you can be in the right place and the right time.

the guy lots a leg and other serious injuries but is happy he is alive
