Driving along minding my own business when the CLP went past , have never seen it out the station so followed it , taken with a P&S

Pressure required all comes down to the pressure needed at the top of the platform. Pressure is lost for every 1m rise that water is pumped and for each length of hose it needs to go through. I think it is a pressure loss of 0.1 bar for every metre rise and 0.1 bar for every 30m length of 60mm. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I found the easiest way to calculate is give them the pressure required for the job and add a little extra to compensate. They start using the hand signals if they want more or less. For the CLP and TTL that why a heavy pump is sent to get the pressure for the upwards rise (more litre pumped /min = more pressure)hold3n wrote:How much bar pressure? sure would need atleast 15----
