I don't have pics but I'm just preparing a video. You can hear the crash and shouting and then the response by Police and Paramedics. When I'm done I'll post it here and update the thread.

Didn't take Polair much time to get on the scene, just watching it back now. Ambulance left to RPH roughly 20 minutes after accident occured.

At 20 seconds in. It is masked slightly by a gust of wind on the mic.

I don't see the issue. If people don't want to see it, they can just skip the thread and move on to the next one, same as any other thread on here.

None of the pics or videos show the police chase. None of the pics or videos show the crash occur.
In fact the pics were taken the following day and represent nothing that members of the public hadn't been able to see passing by. One video shows an intesection of public roads through which many vehicles pass, including some emergency vehicles which may, or may not, be responding to the fatal crash. The other video shows vehicles being removed from the scene, quite some time after the crash and again in public view.
If you feel the need to complain about the nature of the content, then look at the images presented on the television news broadcasts, taken shortly after the crash and discussed in graphic detail. Not to mention one particular reporter later strolling through the wreckage picking up pieces of it.
And on another matter, if you look back at the history of WARSUG since 2005 you will find numerous topics and posts, some including pics and videos, about incidents such as crashes and fires in which fatalities have occurred. Such matters are often discussed.

If the camera caught the crash then no it would not have been available to the public. As it is, if you watched the news you would have seen more than what I have provided. This post was not to glorify the incident it was to educate, and provide a useful source for the Police to cross reference their incident reports. As it happens, I spoke to a traffic investigator at the scene on that morning and they requested a copy of the video from the webcam which I happily supplied. Having said that, no the crash is not on cam but it will help them putting together the report as they have reference on when certain units arrived on scene etc etc. I know these are recorded by VKI and in Tardis but it's one other avenue they can pursue and if it aids in their investigation in anyway I'm happy to hand over the video.
