Was trying to leave Perth on Malaysian Airlines to KL at 1620 on Jan 12 - due to Airport fire, flight crew was delayed and flight was delayed about 30 minutes. Interesting as saw fire develop as I was going to airport & helitacs were starting to work.

I've just heard a interesting statement.
A rep just said to me he can't recall a fire in that area before the road opened to the public, however in the last 12 months there has been 3 that I can remember.
