Myself and Zebedee went for a look at the 03 mound today, seeing as they were using 03 for once. Photos Below.

Oh bummer, I was there this morning around 1100 when I saw 03 in use! Certainly is a great spot, only got to see one take off the rest land, but got a good wave from the Virgin FO! All the kiddies were excited.
Seeing a Qantas 747 land up close was a sight, as was the tire smoke/smell!

Wait for that msg that 'tells' you to stop creating threads for only a couple of pictures..... Wait it will come!
Oh is that not allowed ? ( guilty is me)
I would have thought because the images are hosted off site it would not have mattered?
Matt
No, it's allowed. Nothing to worry about.
The only problem arises when new threads are added that contain a single image - it's often more efficient to group multiple images into a single thread where possible. In this case, there were a group of images around a common theme, taken at the same time, and no comparable thread existing. In which case - it makes sense to create a new one.

Basically it is like an ICV, but used by management of the airport, Police, fire etc. Realistically I think you would find Belmont ICV out there real quick. It is a very basic set up and they do a bi-annual exercise with the vehicle. It works for them so far, but I am sure that if something were to happen it would be a complete Cluster F^%$.
