AR-681 - that's an interesting one... - Which district/area does it belong to?

Simple, take a pic, hold the camera at the same sort of level and move round making sure the new photo overlaps the old by about 25% or more. Then continue doing the same for how wide you want it. That photo was comprised of about 7 individual photo's and the clever bit of stitching them together is done in software. Lots around to choose from. The software looks for the overlap on the end of one pic and the start of the next and recognises whats the same and stitches them together.

The first program I used was included with a digital camera I bought and was called Cool360 by Ulead. I used that for a few years. When I bought my next camera it also included Canon's version of a similar program. Also was able to switch to pano mode and display the previous image so you could line up the next perfectly. Now I am back to the 25% overlap method.

I believe Photoshop can do them and so can Irfanview but not tried either.

I have put a couple panarama photo's I have taken on WARSUG in the past, so it's nothing new. Give it a go, the results are worth it.

So as not to take Blinky's post way off topic...

Further discussion on panoramic pictures can continue in the 'Panoramic Pictures' topic.
