Great pictures! Shame the helipad was moved, remember doing night shifts around there and catching it when it landed [they had to close of the road]
Is the road closed when Rescue 65 lands at the pad?

No, the traffic keeps flowing. I can see a few rear end prangs in the future....

From memory this must be at least the 4th location of the QEII helipad now. By the looks it's at the northern end near the ambulance depot, if so it would also be the furthest from the A&E department.
