Adelaide is crazy, I too have seen this and honestly think its a waste of money, unfortunately its not me to judge.

The WAPOL command post, new truck was scooped by myself at the last ACDC concert.

Where do they hide the POD truck and the Incident Command??

I came back from Adelaide and Melbourne not that long ago , both of those states have gone POD crazy , Adelaide in particular.

Also interesting to see the large WA Fire Service decal on the IC.

the incident comand, is based at belmont, callsing BELMONT ICV

there are two POD trucks, one at Malaga and one at Canning Vale. the crew that mans there 2.4U will man the POD Truck if required.

There is also a USAR 4wd, simiular to what FLO, and Line rescue drive, i belive they are a chainsaw crew who were cutting down trees in Thornlie yesterday. there is a pic of it here http://warsug.info/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=6031 the 4th pic

The LRO [Line Rescue Vechile] is now a Holden, not a 4WD drive anymore.



The FLO is the following Vechile.



And that FRS Command Centre [ICV] is Belmonts and replacing the old Toyota Coaster which I have seen under fire call before and is quite a good chuckle seeing the curtains sway in the momentun!

No, completely different trucks. There are many different trucks that WAPol have set up as mobile Command Posts.

yeah i know that, well actualy the LRV is still a 4wd, a holden rodeo 4WD.

and all of these are very simuar.

The trucks you photographed at Subiaco and Jacob's Ladder are 2 different trucks (different rego plates).

The 2 USAR pods supposed to be at Canningvale and Malaga seem to spend more time at Forestfield Training centre unless they have 2 shoring and 2 breaching pods, which is a possibility as USAR cat 2 training is apparently quite regular.

The two USAR pods are at Canningvale.

Malaga has the Mass Decon Pod which I believe rarely moves out of its shed.

Just a quick correction, it has USAR on the POD, not the truck. The POD it is carrying doesn't define the role of the vehicle. It is just a POD transporter. The vehicle will turn up to site, drop the POD and either park up or drive away.

USAR Truck is a different vehicle all together. This vehicle is called POD Carrier (this title, the correct title, would fit into subject title).
