i notice they still have the pump controls on the back. i thought they were all goin away from this after a firie was killed when car slammed into the back of a parked pump

I believe that is the thinking of some people in WA. You will find plenty of new trucks with pump panels on the back, the main ones are for the NSWFB and CFA.
