Whilst at the Mandurah crime scene the other day i got a few pics of the new Command Post truck for the Peel district. No call sign but i hazard a guess it would be OM60*. I believe these trucks will be replacing the old Iveco vans in each of the metro districts.

Re: WAPol - New Peel Commad Truck
Hey Written if you look on the pics you will see little clear lights around the cab and also on the rear there are four of them on the rear pannel 2 st the top and 2 at the bottom these are LEDs that flash blue and red they will look very good once all lit up

But though I guess it would look more awesome if it had a vector lightbar aswell!

I'd chuckle if they pulled over a car for something: I've seen the Transit doing thisyorky wrote:I somewhat doubt it would be going priority

Re: WAPol - New Peel Command Truck
Yes well their mobile lockup(s) and large vans at least do have the proper lighting and I'd image nothing in the back until they shove someone in there

Re: WAPol - New Peel Command Truck
Could this be a sign of things to come regarding new decals for police vehicles?
Also did this have a green beacon on it?

Re: WAPol - New Peel Command Truck
Not every command post/ICV has to have a green light. That document is a guide, not law. I agree though, would be rather amusing them doing a traffic stop for someone speeding .
AE in the second photo is that your work tripod or is it a speed camera?
Good shots too.

well they do say if you're going to commit a crime do it right under their noses where they're least expecting it.

Re: WAPol - New Peel Command Truck
I suspect that these decals are just for larger vehicles and vessels. They have been around for some time now.Mug wrote:Could this be a sign of things to come regarding new decals for police vehicles?
