I must say that is a fairly elaborate vehicle for a volunteer station, considering some career station's trucks are breaking down on the way to incidents.

I spose' Kalamunda is probably one of the busiest stations...

For a Vollie station it is busy but compared that to a career stn they are quiet. They did have an old acco apliance that did need replacing a while ago but a brand new scania when as you say there are perm vehicles braking down left right and centre then yeah seems a bit excessive maybe a HSR should be more appropriate as really they don't have the major industry that require such heavy pumping. Someone may shed some light on to why they recieved a scania

From my understanding Kwinnie had it before Hope Valley was opened and took a major part of their "catchment". They were quite busy prior to HV.
