Transperth Security

G'day All,

Wondered if anyone had seen the New Transperth Security Vehicle(s) driving around as yet - Hyundai Sonata Sedan/s.

Spotted one yesterday near Cockburn Central Station with two Transit Officers on-board. Vehicle was Silver with Green "Chequers" (decals) applied to side and rear (incl. roof) of vehicle. Standard PTA Transit badges on bonnet and two side doors. Looks quite impressive.

See the Public Transport section under the thread "New Transperth Security Vehicle." Its been discussed there.

The design does look pretty good, but as yet no one has been able to get a photo.

I actually do kinda miss the Secureforce "Chevys" tho

You can probably buy a second hand one now. Check eBay.

I saw one couple weeks back shadowing a bus in Ocean Reef. Nil lightbar and as described.

I noticed (driving past it everyday) that the Westminster Secureforce vehicles are still there, but none with lightbars anymore.

what? they were security guards initially? i thought transperth hired american cops to be on the beat.

could've fooled me with that uniform!
