Thanks Bomber.

Josh, how about I do what I want with my pics. Either way I am sure some of you have already saved the pics and got them with the watermark.

Jasonjag
we would enjoy them better if they were not ruined with your copyright insignia, and there is software available to remove the water mark, have done it with the Motorcross pics. not for resale etc.
Well lets see then considering the watermark is embedded into the jpeg image.

philby
thought of sending those pics to the pilots at helicopters australia?
I'm sure they would get a kick out of them.
Already dropped by one day when I was working and showed the pilots.

Just be grateful that I have shown you guys some photos.

In a perfect world, people wouldn't need to resort to watermarking their photos, because everyone else would respect that person's work and not try and do things like pass the photo off as one of their own.

Unfortunately we don't live in such a world, and people do act in a less than ethical manner sometimes.

Agreed mate, keep them coming, initially the watermarking got to me but that was just because it stood out, now I've gotten used to seeing the photo's as they are with the watermarks, I can see past it and see the photo for what it is. I'm with Zeb, if only we were in an honest world then we could do away with the water marking, but there'd also be a few people out of a job :P.

Im only giving my own opinion here, im not having a go! dont get me wrong, I can well and truely understand why you have a watermark, as you may or may not know I take lots of pictures and mate, I suffer from the same thing that you do, however I have gone to other measures so my photos can still be looked at and enjoyed, the big watermarks you have does "ruin" some of your photos, how about trying to move the watermarks or even make them more transparent, so its still there but isnt the first thing you notice. With my photos I just make them smaller and lower the quality by 35%, what this does is give me security if someone decides to save it to their computer (im happy for them to do that!) but if they want to print it or put it up for resale they wont have a chance.

Other options are out there! Why I have a fotopic site, great alternative! :)

Cheers and keep up the good work

I not having a go at you for using watermarks, i use watermarks on my photos. But i was saying how on that photo i quoted it dosent take from the picture. I was suggesting if you did them all like that one it would look better, but your pictures will still be watermarked.

Well this isn't the right place to post... BUT... If you meet "The One" - and she is worth more than a camera - then you have your answer
