I saw only a couple of injuries - one where a cart rolled over a competitor's ankles (apparently he's gone into surgery to have it pinned) and the other was a bad hamstring injury. There may have been others. I too wish them a speedy recovery.

I took nearly 4000 pics so don't expect any in the immediate short term.

Great photos Wes.

The 1.4 looked alright, but a couple of things come to mind. It is a lot wider than a LT, and going down some of the tracks around the place the wing mirrors wont last too long.
I also believe the top speed of the 1.4 is 80-90 km/h a bit slow for those out of district calls.......

Cheers

Ive heard that there really not that much longer or wider then a LT because of the bonnet on the cruiser and also the barwork

and if uve got 6 tonne of metal round u even going over 100ks an hour would take u some time before ull come to a stop, most heavy vehicles struggle to do over 120 and thats liek a 2.4,3.4,4.4

ive heard stories of them doin faster speeds, but why would u?

The 1.4 is the best truck in our fleet.

It's practical, Not a pain in the arse to climb in and out of after a 8 hour shift. It's a Diesel Turbo - She has some pick up to it.

Members have told me it's exactly the same as driving a car (Response to road)

I'd much rather have another 1.4 the LT. If only it wasn't a LR and was a C class license.
