mmm is interesting as obviously a 000 call was made, and WAPOL and SJA were dispatched! the Advance Life RRV must have been called out via 000 as far as I know it, however someone with more knowledge towards this may share some info...

I hate those wanna be police cars!

How insecure do you need to be in yourself to get kicks out of people thinking you're a police officer.

Advanced life are generally called on there direct phone number. As St Johns are the government contracted ambulance supplier they are the only ambulance service dispatched as a result of a 000 call. Advanced Life always have 1 crew rostered 24/7 at there rockingham depot and normally as many during the day as they can. They dont respond off a scanner either.

Do the police ever call them or is it up to the victim lying on the road who needs to make the call. Do SJA ever subcontract them?

ALAS dont get contacted via 000 they do have there own local emergency number, towies call them if sja are coming from further away, i am also lead to believe that the previous owner has a relative in the wapol who would call them direct but cant confirm that and last of all the good old trusty scanner also gets them work (last guy i saw had a hand held scanner while filling up at bp rocko)

Oh and SJA do not and will not call them at anytime

ALAS bill the patient direct. Private health insurance (except HBF) will pay for ambulance cover if they have the right policy.
