Heres a few pics of emergency vehicles i spotted around Melbourne earlier this month. Unfortunately most the time anything interesting was going on i didnt have the camera, which was a shame as they have some realy nice fire trucks

Imho, the Channel 7 Suburban here in Perth has a better paint job than their Melbourne counterparts.

Demo by members at No. 1 Station (East Melbourne) - this is a wheeled escape ladder for narrow lanes. I saw the last one in 2006 - they are all no longer in service.

Me? BWAHAHAHAH!! No way! Definately not high ranking.

I went to the Fire Services Museum of Victoria - they have (I think) every Friday a display put on by the crew at #1 Station (East Melbourne) which is right next door.

The others are a matter of being in the right place at the right time and having a camera handy.
