And I would see the red one in my rear view as a FESA vehicle. ....Red car / Police car...does not make sense.

True points to both of you...so what about Yellow?? They'd be the easiest car to spot out of the lot of them!

Are these AFP cars meant to have call signs printed on them or are they on display?

They do look good but the red is to firey looking.

Here's one of those red beasts. Also were a couple of fully marked APS Adventuras parked near the domestic airport also.

The lightbar is interesting.

I was more interested in the Ozjet B732 parked on the other side of the fence.. 8)

Yup, saw a red one today on Gt East Hwy, just looked like FESA. Red is not a cop colour!

I'm pretty sure that's what the AFP were after when they chose red. They don't want their vehicles confused with WAPOL cars. They have no further powers of arrest than any civilian when it comes to state matters, so I'm certain they wouldn't want to get flagged down to help out if something was happening.
I realise red is a Fire colour, but when you look, most of the WAFB sedans and 4wd wagons are white now as well. Isn't white a Police colour?
