Neat pictures. Though I'm curious as to what the little black box/light thing above that speaker/siren is.

Yes I was intrigued about that aswell, may be a camera and or a radar?

Its a general duties car but not all of them have it fitted so my guess is that its either one of those emerg alerts.

Even though the images are now gone I am going to assume by 'the little black box' you guys were referring to the device that assists in changing the traffic lights at selected interestions to favour the approaching emergency vehicle.

These devices were introduced on team and shuttle buses initially during the Commonwealth Games to assist them in getting to the venues on time.

Once this was finshed they transferred them to numerous Emergency Vehicles.
