USAR means Urban Search and Rescue - collapsed buildings etc.

Perth ute is not just for deliveries but is generally for firies on light duties. Can't give much more info than that sorry.

Ive seen this ute patrol the Leederville area - namely the Leederville Hotel on a Wednesday night, having a yarn with the WAPOL boys on the beat.

Hi Wes,

I keep seeing MP69 in the CBD, as a matter of fact saw it today also.

I was under the impression that this appliance was the 'spare unit' from the workshops which was loaned out.

I've seen Perth First HP2 in the past 2 days and the 1QBA plated Scania but I haven't seen that MPHR Series 4 (with the normal plates 1BOC894-??) they had, so maybe it's replaced that one?

Just a thought.

I concur - I've heard MP69 is a spare Scania for when one is elsewhere.

Dunno what's happened with the MPHR. Not heard anything. Maybe MP69 is there while the MPHR is at O'Connor?

Yes indeed MP69 is the series 4 standby pump thus having everything painted blue on it.
