Re: What products do you want?!?
Yea Ive been looking at a few small hand helds that come out of asia. This is probably the only avenue of getting one under $200. As for the base, i'll have to investigate a bit more.

Re: What products do you want?!?
Nope, the For Sale section isn't for items related only to radio scanning. But it's expected that items have some valid connection to the site's aims and objectives.
By looking at Blacky's website, it's fairly clear that it's related to communications of the radio nature. Providing it's being done tastefully and by an established forum member, I don't see it to be an issue.
Someone who's created an account simply to post for sale ads for an old lounge suite, a lawnmower, and a set of filters for a swimming pool pump probably wouldn't get the same latitude

Re: What products do you want?!?
Of course anything we decide to sell will be ACMA approved, no dogies going on here.....except maybe that Perth Police radio.....Its going to take me a while to stock these as i have to stalk police and wait for them to actually drop them....its like watching a chook lay eggs. (the fact it has digital encryption means nothing....haha)
No in all seriousness, my intent is to help you guys out and others with products that are useful and at a good price. ie cable, connectors, antennas, mounts, radios, gps, wifi, all that good stuff.
Im only starting off small but im keen to build it up.
thanks all for the support so far.....i actually thought this thread was deleted!
and keep the items you want coming so i can investigate them
Cheers
