Tait 2020 II

Post by Ambul8 »

I have one of these at home and am thinking of selling it. Wont be back from work until 11 December.

It is set up in a project box as a base radio, so I am not sure what exactly it has with it (ie not sure if it has vehicle mounting brackets).

PM me if you are interested with any questions and I shall answer them when I am at home and have the thing in front of me.

Sale by EOI.

What band? Series 1 or series 2? Remote or local head?

Its the newer tait with the tear drop buttons. Series II me thinks.

Remote head, currently set up in a project box as a base radio, with adaptor for aerial and room for power pack. With the genuine speaker.

Insofar as the mounting brackets go I will have to check this out when I am back in Perth on the 11th.

TWAS used when I was associated with the water faries. It was programmed to FESA freq's, Ie channel's 1-99. was used in the South West, and worked well on all south west channel's and also picked up 6AR when I was in range. The last time it had the freqs updates was in late 2002
