Wanted to buy - Radio

Post by Swanbourne1989 »

Hi,

I'm interested in buying a radio that can pick up RAAF, Army Airforce and SAS frequencies. Not to worried if it can't transmit, just as long as it can receive signals.

Blackhawks and F18s have been flying around my house constantly for the last 2 weeks, wanna hear whats going on :)

Thanks.

Ps. I'm in Perth, would appreciate if it could be delivered to Cottesloe area.

Also willing to spent ~ $100 - $300

Haha thanks, wasn't expecting to be able to listen in on their super secret activities.

Can anyone recommend a place to buy a scanner capable of listening to RAAF , Army Airforce pilots or whatever. I live In Swanbourne, Perth WA, and F18s and Blackhawks are flying around regularly, id love to listen in to find out when they will be flying past. Love filming them.

Assuming that they're using channels that are in the clear, most scanners that cover the AM Aircraft band should do it.
