It’s now only three weeks until Hargfest on Saturday the 10th of May at the HARG Club Rooms in the Paxhill Guide Hall on the corner of Sanderson and Brady Roads in Lesmurdie. Sellers will be setting up at 11.00 and food stalls, including the famous Hargburgers will start around 12.00 and buyers will be admitted for the bargains at 1.00. Entry fee is $5. The raffle prizes so far are a 900 to 1300 MHz SWR Meter donated by Steve VK6ST, a True RMS AC/DC Clamp Meter and a Peak Component Analyser both donated by Altronics and a number of Balun and Antenna kits donated by
TET-Emtron. There is one more major prize with a value of around $250 recently donated by Ian VK6LCT from Timberden Plant Hire. I’ll confirm this next week but we are looking at either a 2m/70cm 50 Watt linear amp or a multi band hand held transceiver. The door prize is a hand held frequency meter. Please support all of those people who generously help us each year. Tables are now fully booked. Mark from TET-Emtron will be there with his wide range of antennas and kits. We will also have the VHF group, WARG, NCRG, The Scout Radio Team and WIA. Fritz VK6UZ will be there as usual with his components and connectors, Richard VK6BMW will have lots of hard to get connectors and adaptors, Gary VK2BLC will have his high quality test gear and several other vendors including HARG and Allan VK6AN will be selling radio accessories.
