WA Radio Scanner Users' Group

Long shot guys, but anyone had any success remotely operating 27MHz? I am looking to be able to have a transceiver/antenna at a desired location, and be able to RX/TX and operate squelch remotely... Anyone know of anyone who has succeeded in this?

i would imagine you could set up a PMR style system were you have a radio connected to a computer on a server , then have another computer you use to operate the radio, you would have to check leaglitys and permission of the owners of the PMR system. but it will work.
