trying to read from radio i get :asynk error com is right and working winxp check cable and radio are good can anyone help can't connect to radio

Hi Frank.

Which version of the Tait software are you running? The DOS or Windows version? Some of the older radios don't work very well with the Windows one.

im used dos version off softwear but in win xp and gives me same error

Try it in pure DOS, without Windows running.

How did you go? I get the same problem trying to program a Tait 5010 Orca straight from DOS.

I thought the t5010 software was windows base... and how old is the T2000??? you may need the windows version of software if it series 2

Yeah, windows based. Now I am having trouble with it not having the correct radio database - apparently needs updating but I can't get an update from anyone. Anyone got access to a new RSS to program the 5010? Ta
