P25 Digital on CB Radio

Post by Fitzyyy »

Just a general question, are P25 transmissions allowed on CB radio frequencies?

I've heard P25 on Channel 5 a few times.

You can hear that mechanical noise a mile away.

Channel 8 seems to have a lot of P25 interference. heard some this morning, clear as day. I'll tune my SDR into the channel 8 repeater and record/decode it if I can.

Hi There,

I would be very keen to hear about any P25 interference as I am the current License holder of

PER05 & PER08

Many thanks.

I think I heard you yesterday kicking knobheads off 35 & 38.

Thanks for putting up PER 05. People will be needing that up if a major incident occurs in the city or surrounds.

Hi again,

yea that was me.

Retards are using Channel 35, possibly with a CTCSS Subtone so they cant hear anyone telling them to move channels.

Channel 5 was only taken over by the Northside Radio Association earlier this year.

Check out our web site www.nra.org.au

And we are also on facebook if you want to follow what we are upto:

Enjoy
