Hello,
I purchased a used Motorola XTS3000 which comes preprogrammed with 80 CB channels.
However I would like to add some extras such as CTSS functionality to it.
Anyone know of a good place in Perth I can get my radio programmed for such things?
Many thanks,
AL

I don't believe that radio is capable of CTCSS. It's not in the spec sheet I have.

Re: Motorola XTS3000 programming
The radio certainly is capable of CTCSS and DCS and NAC. Basically any commercial radio these days and from years past can handle CTCSS and DCS. As to the programming the cost of a lead from Ebay (make sure it is for the XTS3000 and not the 5000) plus the software which can be found with a little help from Google would probably cost less than someone charging you to do the job.robbage wrote:I don't believe that radio is capable of CTCSS. Thanks for the replies.
I already had a look around Google but failed to find any proper software to download for the XTS3000.
Also I have heard horror stories from others about buying programming cables thru Ebay which may still turn out to be the wrong cable or versions. Hence thought it would be easier to find someone or somewhere to do it for me.
