Hi,
I have created this thread for anyone interested in monitoring and/or helping combat misuse of PER05. PER05 is the Perth channel 5 emergency repeater, and even in the city, the occasional full-blown emergency call does come through.
This thread is for anything regarding PER05 including information about misuse.

Re: PER05 monitoring and misuse information
Currently there is a very verbally aggressive working group using channel 35, and at times, coming through PER05. I think they are located near the city, possibly using a crane.
If anyone is driving out that way, if possible please monitor channel 35 and try to warn them on air (they will probably be rude to you so don't argue or you'll be blocking the channel too) and try to find their location. Maybe record if they be rude to you, that'll help if the acma get involved.
