QANTAS is reducing planned domestic capacity growth for 2011/2012 from 8% to 5.5% and capital expenditures by about A$700m. It is cancelling or deferring delivery of 12 narrowbodies and will now take 34 aircraft in 2011/2012 vs 43

Just to be clear, its not just Perth Thu have cut, all Australian and new Zealand routes excluding Melbourne

Qatar will be heading to Perth in approximately two months - CEO did a little slip of the tongue! China Southern flights at the moment are heavily booked with respectable loads, especially the front of the cabin!

Rumours are rift that they will start with 777 ops straight away. China Southern / Qatar... wonder who else will be coming to town!

I know its loaded saying A330 - but as I said, rumours rift that they will start with 777's straight away. They can change it makes no different at the moment.

This is what has been published at the time of printing.
When something different is announced by the airline, then we will go with that, but for now, rumors are rumors, until proven otherwise.

Ah that really sucks
Just like the shuttle, I am a real fan. They just don't make things in that raw power to move mass way anymore.
