A friend reckons planes are circling over her house in Hamilton Hill, she's never seen it before.

With the recent weather patterns you will find that some planes will hold over different spots at different times. Its not un common for planes to hold.
Best I remember was flying Air Mauritius and being held over London for 40mins whilst awaiting a landing slot
