Just out of curiosity, this is the Jandakot ATIS 281 kHz transmitter. It's loud and clear from where I live. Interesting :wink:

It's an NDB (or Non Directional Beacon), an aircraft Navigational Aid for (you guessed it) Jandakot Airport. The transmition of the ATIS is a secondary function, although useful :)

Also, if you meant "is this the...", then yes, yes it is
