DJ4149 (Perth - Phuket) VH-VUF returned to perth this arvo about 1-2 hours after departure. Blocked lavatory system. When they called back, they were 4t overweight - so i'm guessing they had to dump fuel - considering they took on about 14t of the stuff. I finished before it left, so dont know if it left again or not

Would have been a hold and burn job.

The 737 doesn't have the ability to dump fuel

It also depends on airline config, Qantas 767's and A333's are not fitted out with jettison

Aircraft is still on the deck.

Pax were brought back to depart at 5am, but the aircraft was still not repaired. so another night in perth.

The issue is that the sensor is showing full when the tank is empty. Doesn't sound like a big problem, but that then locks out the toilets... and on a perth - phuket run, not a good thing.

Last time I had that problem there was a coin stuck to the sensor

Apparently They Have Been Delayed Unknown For How Long But One Was Sent Back To Be Repainted Due to It Looking Bad Apparently And They Cannot Come into Perth Until The Old Fire station is knocked down because if they were to taxi past it is 2m clearance if they were on the centerline so they need to knock it down before they can come in.

So When They knock it does which is very soon we should see the VB A330's Arriving shortly after
