Callsign according to the Guidelines of SJA - is Rescue 65 - no Rescue1. 8)

I believe that "RAC Rescue 1" is painted on the sides of this lovely bird. More for publicity and public relations (and sponsorship) i would expect. As far as most of the public would be aware it is the 'number 1' rescue chopper :)

scottpike, I would like you to please acquaint yourself with 2 keys on your keyboard. Namely . and , they are punctuation marks and break up your sentences so that others can read them. You will find that the ESA and ESB channels are located either on the SJA radio or FESA radio. Otherwise thankyou for the frequencies, hopefully they will be useful to someone.

Information received third hand while up at Barbagallo today said the helicopter was sent to an accident at the motorcross park.

It spent quite a long time on the ground before taking off and flying very low and slow in the direction of Perth.
