Yes, it's slightly manic here today.
RIO has been doing operations all week getting crews up to operational status.
Hopefully there will be some good coverage on the news tonight judging by all the media here.
Fingers x'ed that RIO stops when it should when poking it's nose into the hanger!

Re: RFDS - Arrival at YPJT today
RIO is the call sign of the plane I was referring to, not RIO-TINTO or the contractor Maroomba.
I should have made that clearer, sorry.

Re: RFDS - Arrival at YPJT today
from http://australianaviation.com.au/maroom ... -rfds-jet/While the RFDS owned jet will visit our Jandakot Airport base, it requires jet specific, permanent infrastructure at Perth Airport, which Maroomba can provide

Re: RFDS - Arrival at YPJT today
I wouldnt be suprised that in the near future all RFDS would be based out of Perth airport. Quicker response times for patient arrival would be benefical and a dedicated hanger with Maroomba at YPPH

Re: RFDS - Arrival at YPJT today
I honestly can't see that happening anytime soon - RFDS have only just finished building a spankin' new building at Jandakot ...written_ficton wrote:I wouldnt be suprised that in the near future all RFDS would be based out of Perth airport.
