Spot on Steve, definitely some AP-3C activity and also quite a few RAN Seahawk and RNZN Seasprite movements too.
Re: October, November, December Sightings 2009
It's been really interesting searching 225-400mhz, at all hours of the day and night.
Re: October, November, December Sightings 2009

What steps you using steve.Steve wrote:It's been really interesting searching 225-400mhz, at all hours of the day and night.
Re: October, November, December Sightings 2009
50khz or 100khz will do the job. If you want to avoid various data and radionavigation signals, and your scanner does 'chain search', program five search banks:
230-267
273-312
315-322
335-387
390-400
...and be patient! remember these are AM, too - your scanner might default to FM.

Yeah, right that's a 2009 build!
What I meant was it's a new EMS helicopter operation for the Pilbara, which was mentioned earlier in this topic.

Spotted Westpac, R65 and (I think) Polair choppers buzzing around Swanbourne and nearby coastal suburbs this arvo. Something happening?
